How can I install MSTBOOT with multiple primary partitions?
First activate a FAT12/16/32 partition (e.g. via fdisk). If you have more than one,
activate the first FAT partition. Now install the boot manager, you proceed in the following way:
- Reboot the system from the MSTBOOT diskette.
- Start the boot manager
- The Wizard asks now for all necessary information to define the current operating
system in the boot manager.
- Dismiss the boot manager with Alt+X
Now setup the "partition link" to the systems on the other partitions:
- Start the program MSTBOOT.EXE with the parameter -p. (mstboot -p).
- Select the function Boot section->New partition (Alt+B, A).
- From the list of the partitions select the target partition, activate the option
"Set partition active" and finish the function.
